Dr. Kandl and his highly trained staff maintain the highest levels of accreditation and pursue ongoing education to stay abreast of the latest trends in dentistry.

Todd Kandl D.M.D.

Dr. Kandl is a graduate of Temple University School of Dentistry, where he received training in all aspects of general dentistry. He is licensed by the State Dental Board of Pennsylvania and is a member of the American Dental Association, Pennsylvania Dental Association, and the Monroe County Dental Society. Dr. Kandl also acts as the liasion for the East Stroudsburg School District Hygienist and the Monroe County Technical Institute as a clinical site for the Dental Assisting Program.

Dr. Kandl is devoted to the preservation and, if needed, the reconstruction of every patient's dentition. Treatment plans are tailored to every patients need and he welcomes the patient to be a part of the planning process. He is a firm believer in preventive dental care and enjoys working on esthetic cases to improve the appearance and function of patients teeth and gums. Dr. Kandl has a strong working relationship with other specialists in the area to meet any needs that a comprehensive treatment plan may require.

Dr. Kandl was born in Easton and lives in the area with his wife, two children, and his two dogs.


Linda Richards
Linda is at our front desk to welcome you to our team practice. She is our office manager and has worked in the practice since 1980.If you have any questions regarding insurance, scheduling, or billing she will be more than happy to help. Linda was born and raised in East Stroudsburg. She is married and has two daughters and two Newfoundlands.

Lorraine Breaux
Lorraine is one of our Licensed Expanded Function Dental Assistants. She works side by side with Dr. Kandl seeing to the comfort and needs of our patients. Lorraine is from the Bangor area and has worked in the practice since 1987. She now lives in the Saylorsburg area with her husband Kyle and their dog Max, a 3 year old Beagle mix.

Melody Border
Melody was our full time Registered Dental Hygienist since 1985. For the past ten years she has worked with our team on a part time basis. Along with working in our office, she is active with the PTO and Boy Scouts. Melody lives in East Stroudsburg with her husband, son, and chocolate Lab.

Heather Smith
Heather is our full time Registered Dental Hygienist. She is a graduate of Northampton Community College and joined our team in 2004. Heather is also a volunteer/dog coordinator with a local pet rescue. She lives in East Stroudsburg with her husband, two sons, and four dogs.

Susan Marsh-Youngken
Susie has been in our practice since the late 1970's. She works with our team as a Licensed Expanded Function Dental Assistant. She is a fellow member of the ADAA, PA dental Assistants Association, and the Philadelphia EFDA Association. Susie also teaches the dental assisting program at Monroe Career Technical Institute. She has two grown children and one grandchild. She and her husband live in Scotrun.

Nancy Duggins
Nancy has been part of our team since 2001. She works part time keeping our office spotless. She is a local girl and lives in East Stroudsburg.
